Adjustment Letter

This adjustment letter was written for Harold Walton Sr. After receiving his new golf putter, Walton was dissatisfied because of the obvious scratches located on it. The purpose of the letter was to notify Walton of the action being taken to fix his order and promote satisfaction.

The biggest challenge I had with this letter was being straight to the point without being lengthy. I often caught myself wanting to write more, but later realized the content was unnecessary. I discovered that lengthy and unnecessary content can be perceived as unprofessional and it’s better to be direct.
